Requiring circumcision and obedience to Old Testament worship laws is opposite of grace

As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. Galatians 6:12-13

There are many who seek to turn believers away from Christ and salvation through faith alone in His atoning sacrifice for sin to circumcision and works of the law which even they themselves are unable to keep. Rather than suffer persecution for holding fast to Christ and His redeeming work, they set aside God’s grace in Christ and glory in their own faulty works of the flesh.

Grant, O Christ, that I trust solely in You and Your sacrifice for sin and not add to Your finished work the flawed works of the flesh. Amen.

[Scripture is quoted from the King James Version of the Bible.]
